I wondered about who owned it, so I had a look down the bottom of the Article Submission site sales page and was intrigued by "Ltd". So I went further & found you are from the UK. It shows. Somehow the prose, writing style or something just has a different feel to US sites, when reading it. I didn't feel overwhelmed or pushed into some crazy call to action, scarcity thing.
